1-What is your favorite part of acting and what is it you are looking for in a role?
A). My favorite part was just creating something out of thin air-as w/all artwork. B) I haven't done a film since 89'-90' So, obviously I'd be looking for a role that would create an opening for a new chapter-Take Two!
2-You have a pretty huge filmography, including different genres. How working in horror films is different from the others, you would say?
Low Budget-very fast paced, One day on Warlords w/ David Carradine-my husband at the time & I shot 29 pages w/ something insane like, 120 Camera Set-Ups-The Psychotronic Film Guide dubbed us "Gorilla Filmakers', QUITE THE COMPLIMENT. Higher Budget-very slow paced, you can shoot as little as 3 pages in a day, but of course, the pay eases the tedium...
3-Which part you played was the most challenging one? And what was the challenges for you when you were doing it?
There are all challenging, takes alotta' guts to be an actor...and to make a truly bad script look good, hahahaha
4-Which actor/actress do you think is the perfect icon to represent horror history? Which character is also the most iconic from the genre?
Too easy! Boris, Vincent, Bella
5-Which ingredients are necessary to make a good intellent scary movie?
I believe M. Night Shyamalan & Hitchcock are the perfect examples to answer that question-creating suspence through tension, camera angles, etc. they proved what you can't see, generates more fear than being blatant & obvious. good plot and decent dialog are also helpful.
6-To this day, which film of yours has your best performance?
I suppose Warlords
7-Would you still be interesting in acting nowadays, and do you think you would approach your acting differently? How can interested directors can get in touch with you?
Of course I'm interested, and of course my approach would be different as I am now 52, as opposed to 25, just as with my artwork, evolution hard at work hahaha... Contact me thru my FB page or direct, 559-790-0039, Although as I have fallen on hard times my SAG crd. has gone south after 27 yrs. of membership, heartbreaking....
8-Finally, you are also a talented artist. How would you describe your art? Where people can see some of your work?
They call me a Magic Surrealist yes, that's a real title-and same as above for contact FB pg. & direct....
