1-What was the thing you learned when you were acting in your first film? And what was the thing you learned in your most recent one?
Don't be a diva!!! That was the first and will always be the last. We're all here to do a job, a fun job at that, so don't be a dick lol. Another thing is be prepared and don't be late. Seriously!! If 1 person is late, we all suffer. AND if you're asked to come "make-up ready", don't get to set THEN do your make-up. Walk on set, on time, ready to rock n roll!!!
2-What are the elements that attract you to the horror genre?
I've always loved horror! By the time I was 7, I was watching "Childs Play", "The Exorcist", "Halloween", and more. Horror is in my blood and will always be. Thats what really got me into it, my overall love of the genre. I started in modeling then quickly worked my way into acting. I said to myself, I want to be that girl half naked, running though the woods, screaming my lungs out. I love that shit!
3-Which film is categorized as a classic in the horror genre that you don't like or don't understand why it is called as such?
I've watched it before, just to say I watched it, but I'm not a big fan of "Cannibal Holocaust". I can't do the torture scenes and the killing of innocent animals. Just not into it. "I spit on your Grave" is another one I can't get into. Thats a classic one, but the rape part is hard. Again, just not into it. Any rape/revenge/torture movies are not up my alley.
4-To this day, which film contains your best performance?
My best performance... its a tough one, but I'd have to say my most recent movie that just came out on Amazon Prime and DVD, "Insectula! Creature from another World". In that movie, I felt like I nailed the B movie girl! Its great. If you like big bug movies, you have to check this out!!
5-From your own filmography, what is your top three films?
I'd have to say my fav top 3 would be: "Insectula! Creature from another World", "Zombie Pirates", and "Shriek of the Sasquatch". Quite an interesting mix huh? A big bug movie, pirate zombies, and a monster movie. Gotta love it! Plus, you can find these all on Amazon, which is great!
6-Was there any scene that you did that felt weird to you, but ended up being a great one when you watched the final product?
Haha, most scenes! Well, a more recent one... A movie I did last year, that was just released, "Zombie Dollz". I had a sex scene and when we were filming it, it was hilarious!! You gotta see it, but I was just praying to the horror gods that it at least turned out ok... and it did!
7-What do you consider to be the best film adaptation from a horror novel?
There are so many out there, but one of my favorites is, "The Amityville Horror". I mean think about it. It was HUGE and still is today. I love that book and the movie. I felt they did an amazing job with the adaptation. To this day, I've visited the actual Amityville house twice. I'm just a big fan and there's just so much mystery to the whole story, I love it.
8-What are some of your upcoming projects?
Lets see... in less than a week, I'll be flying out to North Carolina to film, "You Found Me". Its a horror/thriller and is going to be killer! I'll be out there for about 2 weeks filming this bad boy and I'm super excited. I have a few more exciting projects coming up this summer, but won't spill the guts on those quite yet!
